ACC - Quality First > Events

The ACC is committed to educating its members, the public and health care payers about the importance of improving quality in all aspects of patient care. To acheive this goal, the ACC holds several widely-attended events throughout the year that feature quality-related content and promote quality objectives along with Quality First. ACC.08

ACC's Annual Scientific Session for 2008 was held March 29-April 1. The event featured several quality-related sessions, including a day-long "Quality Spotlight" session.

ACC's Annual Scientific Session for 2009 was held March 29-31 in Orlando, Fla.

Legislative Conference

During ACC's Legislative Conference, held Sept. 13 - 15 in Washington, D.C., members took the opportunity to educate Congress about ACC's efforts related to quality, reform and the proposed physician payment cuts

Health System Reform Summit

Held Feb. 1-2, 2009, the Summit brought together health care professionals to discuss how to reform current systems of care.
